[:sk]“Slovenská republika podpísala Dohovor Rady Európy o predchádzaní násiliu na ženách a domácemu násiliu a o boji proti nemu 11.5.2011. Dohovor upravuje povinnosti štátu v oblasti prevencie, podpory a pomoci obetiam, potrestania páchateľov a monitoringu. V prípade ratifikácie, vyvolá potrebu zmien v právnom poriadku aj inštitucionálnom zabezpečení boja proti rodovo podmienenému násiliu. S cieľom podporiť a uľahčiť proces ratifikácie a implementácie Dohovoru plánujeme realizovať tieto aktivity:
• Šírenie informácií o dohovore a jeho dôsledkoch
• Informácie o dohovore a povinnosti rezortov a verejných inštitúcií
• Pracovná skupina/koalícia na podporu Dohovoru vytvorenie
Výstupy:
• Stratégia na podporu implementácie
• Stratégia na uvedenie do praxe
• Dohovor&výkladová správa–šírenie informácií, propagácia
• Dohovor&výkladová správa-analýza, návrh zmien
• Zber skúsenosti, príkladov z praxe (dobrých aj zlých)
• Pravidelné stretnutia (Koordinačné & operatívne ad hoc)“

kontakt: adriana@moznostvolby.sk[:en]On May 5th, 2011, the Slovak Republic signed the CoE Convention on Preventing and Combating of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. The Convention sets duties of the State in the field of prevention of violence, support and help to the survivors, holding the perpetrators accountable and monitoring. In case of its ratification, the convention will trigger the need for changes in legislation, as well as institutional background of combating gender based violence. With a view to making the process of ratification easier and supporting it, we are planning to carry out the following activities:
• Dissemination of information on the Convention and its impact towards public and ministries, as well as public institutions
• Creating working group/coalition supporting the Convention
• Gathering of experience, examples from practice (both good and bad practice)
